Cesh 2009 - Scholarships for young researchers

CRITERIA FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS

IN THE JUNIOUR SCHOLAR AWARDS

ALL PARTICIPANTS HAVE TO MEET THE FOLLOWING

10 CONDITIONS:

1. paper must deal with sport history and meet the Congress theme,
2. paper must be based on original – and not on secondary – sources,
3. paper, or parts of it, must not have been published previously,
4. paper can be submitted in any European language,
5. paper must not exceed 6000 words

6. paper must strictly obey the CESH Regulations for Authors,
7. applicant must not be older than 35 years when attending the Congress,
8. applicant must be a member of CESH,
9. applicant must not have received a CESH prize before

10. applicant must attend the CESH Congress and present her/his paper.

Young scholars under the age of 35 years may submit their work (up to 6000 words) and compete for scholarships available from the Centro Studi per l’Educazione Fisica e l’Attività Sportiva di Firenze, from the ASAI (Archivio Storico dell’Atletica Italiana), from the Associazione Nazionale Azzurri e Olimpionici d’Italia, from the CONI of Pisa and from SISS, in order to honour the memory of Michele Di Donato, leader of Sport History and Physical Education in Italy, Aldo Capanni and Michele Diana, distinguished Florentine scholars in this area and Candido Cannavò, famous journalist dead recently. The texts must be sent by e-mail to the scentific Secretariat of the Congress (cesh2009@storiasport.it) by 30 July 2009 and will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee of Congress.
